Apa yang Ani lihat?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ani : \u201cGelap. Aku takut\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Aku: \u201cKamu di kamar mandi ngapain, ada siapa?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ani: \u201cAku sendirian, aku dikurung papa.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dialog ini terjadi antara aku dan klien di ruang terapi, seminggu yang lalu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Takut gelap atau nyctophobia terjadi kepada klienku, sebut saja namanya Ani. Sejak kejadian pengurungan oleh ayahnya di kamar mandi waktu Ani berumur 5 tahun, membuat Ani dewasa merasa takut ketika berada di ruangan sendirian dan takut gelap.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Apa penyebab nyctophobia?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Apa gejala yang dirasakan ketika seseorang mengalami nyctophobia?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bagaimana cara mengatasinya?\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Penyebab Nyctophobia<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Penyebab nyctophobia sangat beragam, berikut yang aku pahami:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol>\n<li>Pernah mendengar atau melihat kejadian yang menakutkan di waktu malam. Contoh: nonton film horor sadis dengan scene gelap dari adegannya.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Pengalaman masa kecil yang traumatik di ruangan yang gelap<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ditakutin oleh figur otoritas, figur yang lebih tinggi posisinya seperti orang tua, kakek, nenek. Misalnya, kalau kamu nakal, kakek kurung di gudang gelap. Atau: Ruangan gelap ada setannya, nanti kamu diganggu lho, sana nyalakan lampu.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Budaya yang memengaruhi cara berpikir tentang kegelapan.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Selain penyebab, kita perlu mengetahui gejala nyctophobia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Gejala yang dirasakan<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Berikut gejala yang biasanya dirasakan seseorang yang mengalami nyctophobia ketika berada di ruang gelap:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>sesak nafas<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>jantung berdebar<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>pusing<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>pingsan<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>berkeringat<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>muntah<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>marah ketika dipaksa masuk ke ruangan gelap<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>ingin terus berada dalam ruangan ketika malam tiba<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>menyalakan lampu ketika tidur malam<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Sering kan ketemu dengan teman, saudara atau kenalan yang kalau malam tidur, lampu kamar harus menyala?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Cara Mengatasi Nyctophobia<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Pertama, lakukan teknik relaksasi ketika gejala muncul. Contohnya: deep breathing, muscle relaxation, meditasi, mindfulness exercise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kedua, olahraga yang teratur. Olahraga menurunkan level stress dan memunculkan perasaan positif.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ketiga, mengikuti sesi hipnoterapi. Akar masalah trauma dicari, kemudian direkonstruksi. Pikiran bawah sadar diedukasi dan diberikan sugesti sehingga diterima pikiran bawah sadar.<br>Pesanku kepada orang tua: baterai kasih anak selalu diisi setiap hari.
